Be my "Decorating" Valentine!

Well I took a break and back to decorate for Valentine's Day. Hearts are always pretty throughout the year, so maybe I will have a couple stay for a while. I bought this wonderful decor fabric at JoAnn's and made a few stuffed hearts that I hand stitched.

Here I used three of my stuffed hearts on an old mirror I painted with homemade chalk paint and then distressed it.

The coat rack (given to me by my mother-in-law) was so much fun to decorate. A frame my friend gave me that I again used homemade chalk paint and distressed it. Another friend crocheted the scarf and the heart is a Target day after Valentine's sale find from a few years ago. Notice, I hardly ever buy things or at least buy "cheap".

This red vase always makes an appearance for Christmas, now it shows up again for Valentine's. I also love RED!

My Art History book from college shows up again and still getting lots of use out of it. The silver fern from my red vase above and my Hershey's jar below, came from a live flower arrangement my daughter gave me for Christmas that I continue to use. I just LOVE to recycle and keep reusing...why not!

Happy Valentine's Day!

    1. Yes indeed and I love to keep the fresh roses in an arrangement and let them dry out. I like it when they don't open and they are still in the bud stage, that way they look pretty when they dry. Thanks for stopping by my blog...following you now!

  2. Love, love, love those stuffed hearts, Judy. The fabric is stunning. Your red accessories are really pretty. And I love those frames, too. The way you painted them enhances their beauty. Nicely done. xxx ~ Nancy
