Decorating with milk glass

I love the white, pure and clean look of milk glass. It is very inexpensive and you can find a variety at garage sales, thrift stores, Etsy and vintage antique shops.

The white bowl is not milk glass, but blends well with the other pieces.
Just add a bit of nature (and if you are lucky to have freshly picked lemons this time of the year,...what a nice treat and very juicy for making lemonade later)!

  4. I'm so glad you stopped by A Joyful Cottage and said "hello", Judy. It brought me here to your blog and this lovely post on milk glass. I have a renewed interest in milk glass and even have a Milk Glass Pinterest board I started. I've pinned one of your photos for inspiration. A few months ago my husband found a little milk glass bedside table lamp at a thrift store and brought it home for me. I love it and hope to add more pieces. Following your blog, and loving all your pretty projects. Also, I hope you'll join me for the Every Room In The House blog party. It's a month long party. We're just wrapping up January in The Kitchen, and will open up The Living Room on February 1st. Link up any post that relates to the living room -- DIY project, thrifty find, redo/makeover, whole room reveal, etc. Cheers ~ Nancy
