It is amazing what you can do with silk flowers....these look real and no need to water!
My friend came to me with her flower pot and one word, "HELP"!
With a little magic, now a happy friend and a "Happy New Year"!
I just white washed the clay pot using craft paint. Took a trip to the craft store and snipped and stuffed flowers into floral foam and added spanish moss. Easy to do!

So pretty-and the best kind! All I use now is dried or faux. :)

Thanks Susan...I need to post the before of this arrangement that my friend asked me to re-do for her...it was quite a transformation and I wanted to keep it :)...It was easy to do and I will just have to make another one just for me!
DeleteSilk flowers look amazing nowadays and can be used in so many different ways...especially during winter when it is impossible to grow anything:) I love how the silk hydrangeas look in the white washed pot...so pretty! Have a wonderful evening! Hugs, Poppy
ReplyDeleteThanks Poppy...I usually find my flowers at Hobby Lobby. They seem to have a big selection and I also wait till they have them on sale for 50% off, which they do quite often. Have a good evening to you too!
